With over a decade of experience in the barbering industry, Aaron Burks founded Better Kutz with a mission to transform lives through the art of barbering.
What started as a passion for clean cuts has evolved into a comprehensive training program that has helped hundreds of aspiring barbers launch successful careers.
Today, Better Kutz is more than a training program — it's a movement dedicated to building the next generation of skilled, confident, and business-savvy barbers.

Better Kutz is more than haircuts — it's a pipeline turning Gwinnett County kids into skilled, confident, business-minded young adults. Here's how you help build it.
Common Questions
It's built for young people who are curious about barbering — whether they've already picked up clippers or have never held a pair. No experience is required. We meet each student where they are and build from the fundamentals up.
No experience needed. All clippers and equipment are provided during sessions. The one thing your child should bring is their own mannequin (practice) head so they can keep practicing the techniques they learn.
Far more than fades. The program covers sanitation & safety, clipper mastery, cutting techniques, communication, financial literacy, and business basics — alongside the things that matter most: confidence, discipline, character, and mentorship. It's craft and life skills together.
Sessions run 2 hours, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, across four weeks in July (the weeks of July 6–8, 13–15, 20–22, and 27–29). You can see the full breakdown in the Enrollment Details on the program section.
Pricing is $75 per session, $150 per week, or $340 for the full month. You can pay by Cash, CashApp ($Betterkutz3750), or Zelle (678-887-5286). Reach out and we'll get your child set up.
